ClaviCologne 2026: Official Dates Announced
It is now official: ClaviCologne 2026 will take place from 4 to 8 August 2026. The 13th edition of the ClaviCologne Festival is set to arrive in the beautiful coastal city of Pescara, Italy, promising an inspiring five-day celebration of piano artistry, education, and international exchange.
Hosted at the Luisa D’Annunzio Conservatory of Music, ClaviCologne 2026 will bring together some of the most distinguished pedagogues and professors of the contemporary piano world. Renowned artists from more than eight countries will gather for an intensive program of courses and masterclasses, offering young pianists a rare opportunity to learn directly from leading figures of the international music scene.
The festival faculty will include Michel Béroff (France), Milana Chernyavska (Germany/Ukraine), Pietro De Maria (Italy), Pavel Gililov (Austria), Giuliano Mazzoccante (Italy), Hans-Peter Stenzl (Germany), Volker Stenzl (Germany), and Luis del Valle (Spain). Through individual lessons, open masterclasses, and shared artistic dialogue, participants will gain unique insight into diverse pianistic traditions and interpretative approaches.
Students may register as active or passive participants. Active participants will attend five individual classes and will also be eligible to perform in open masterclasses with the festival’s Special Guest Professors. Passive participants will have unlimited access to all masterclasses throughout the festival, allowing them to observe, listen, and learn in an immersive educational environment.
