Konstantin Ishkhanov: “Exciting Announcement for the 12th ClaviCologne in Pescara 2025”
Konstantin Ishkhanov, President of Clavicologne Festival and Academy, has officially unveiled the arrival of the 12th edition of ClaviCologne in the enchanting city of Pescara, Italy, set to take place in the summer of 2025.
This highly anticipated event promises a remarkable celebration dedicated to the art of piano, featuring an array of inspiring masterclasses and an exhilarating piano competition.
“ClaviCologne 2025 will gather some of the most esteemed educators and musicians from over 10 countries,” says Konstantin Ishkhanov. “Our initiative will not only highlight exceptional talent but also provide a unique platform for young pianists to learn from today’s leading maestros.”
The Academy will showcase masterclasses led by globally recognized pianists, offering participants an exclusive opportunity to gain insights from these artistic giants. “Last year, we were honored to host remarkable talents such as Special Guest Professor Denis Kozhukhin from Belgium,” Ishkhanov continues. “Other distinguished pedagogues included Epifanio Comis, Simon Crawford-Phillips, Peter Donohoe, Danny Driver, Pavel Gililov, Cyprien Katsaris, Plamena Mangova, Pietro De Maria, Alessandro Taverna, Stepan Simonian, Zhe Tang, and Ashley Wass. Participants will also be able to apply their newly acquired skills in a two-round competition, details of which will be revealed soon. “This competition will be open to pianists from all over the world, irrespective of nationality, biography or background, inviting them to showcase a diverse repertoire ranging from classical masterpieces to contemporary works,” Konstantin Ishkhanov adds.
