Marios Papadopoulos performed a piano recital at Dubai Opera
Marios Papadopoulos, one of the distinguished professors of ClaviCologne 2025, recently presented a piano recital as a part of the ‘VIP Classical – Cultural Music Circle’ monthly series.
A renowned pianist and the Founder and Music Director of the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra, Marios Papadopoulos is celebrated for his mastery, with critics noting that he possesses “all the attributes of one of the world’s greatest players.” He has performed as both a soloist and conductor in some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including Carnegie Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, the Berlin Philharmonie, and the Sydney Opera House. The recital program featured Mozart’s Piano Sonata No. 11 in A major, K. 331, alongside Beethoven’s iconic Moonlight Sonata. After a brief intermission, Papadopoulos performed Alexey Shor’s Piano Sonata No. 2, as well as Modest Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition.
