Roberta De Nicola studied with Lucia Passaglia and graduated in pianoforte with full marks in 1981 at the “A. Boito” Music Conservatory of Parma.
After graduating, she followed specialization courses with Guido Agosti, Michele Marvulli, Dario De Rosa, Alain Meunier and other illustrious masters at various prestigious institutions. She has also won awards at various competitions and performed public premieres of numerous new compositions. She performed recitals, solo concertos with many orchestras and also chamber concerts in Italy, France, Germany, Mexico, USA and Australia.
She has been teaching pianoforte since 1984 at various Italian conservatories, and since 1994 at the Pescara Music Conservatory. She has been a member of the academic council for six years, and became director of the Conservatorio Luisa D’Annunzio of Pescara since November 2023.
